EntriQ is based in New Zealand and aims to handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020. The Privacy Act sets rules for how organisations collect, store, use, access, correct, and share personal information.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, organisation details, event application responses, approval status, access codes, and basic sign-in information from providers such as Google.
Why we collect it
We collect personal information to create accounts, process event applications, help organisers review and approve access, unlock ticket links, prevent misuse, provide support, and operate EntriQ.
How we use and share information
Application information may be shared with the organiser responsible for the event you apply to. We do not sell personal information. We only use or disclose information for the purposes described in this policy, where required by law, or where you have authorised us to do so.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. EntriQ may use trusted cloud service providers to store and process data.
Access and correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. We will respond in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
Privacy breaches
If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected people and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner where required by the Privacy Act 2020.
